I couldn't get any closer than this. I hope to get a new lens sometime in the new future. I'd like a zoom.

I wonder how long this home was lived in. I wonder when they abandoned it, and moved down the road, or 10 miles from here, or across the state.
This particular homestead is in Weston Canyon, Idaho. It is dotted with horse farms, and cattle ranches. I think I am giving up on my needleturn applique project. I don't think I have the patience for it. I took some of the fabrics reserved for that project and started a hexie project. I may incorporate both of them, along with the yo-yo's of the very same fabric - place them on a black background, and quilt around them, giving myself lots of plain black fabric to do some fun doodling.
After 24 hours of driving, this is what I accomplished. Not great, but not that bad. There were many hours where I sat doing nothing, just listening to an audio book.
