12 hours later, needle turn appliqué

After 12 hours in the car this is all I have to show. I sure hope I get faster... I am planning on making this Piece o Cake applique quilt.  It may take me five years, but that's okay.  The pattern is called 'my whimsical quilt garden.'

Also this is a test - trying to post from my phone.  update... it worked great!  yippee!  now i need to figure out how to send these as a test vs. an email.

    You're lucky to be able to do sewing while in the car.. I get car sick when reading, so I doubt that I'll be able to sew..... :-(
    It's going to be a beautiful quilt...

    I always justify my "slowness", by saying it's not about the time taken, it's about the journey!! LOL. Well, we can't all be over achievers can we! I love seeing applique quilts..... especially the Piece of Cake patterns. It's going to be a real heirloom!

    Your applique is wonderful! Now if you were in my bouncy jeep.....you wouldn't have gotten much stitching done LOL
