Surprised

This is Laura's quilt and I love how it looks.  That's not what surprises me.  I just didn't realize how great it would look with an edge to edge (even though this is my favorite new panto), and how beautifully this greeny/goldy Glide thread shines and looks super gold stitched out.  I know I ask this question from time to time, but I'm really hoping that if anyone is reading, you will tell me your new favorite pantograph. Where did you first spy your favorite?  I saw mine on Teresa Silva's blog... quilting is my bliss.

  1. I find that often myself! A panto adds that unified background of quilting. Sometimes I think they turn out better than a light custom. I have had that panto for a year but never feel I have the right design to place it on. I don't think I would have chosen it for the star quilt either... but it looks AWESOME! I'm going to have to get brave and use that one. What # glide was that thread? That too looks like it was the perfect choice for this quilt.

  2. Sometimes pantos are surprisingly the perfect choice! I just tried the "Gothic Vine" panto and really liked it. "Yo-yo" and "Paisley Playtime" are two of my more recent acquisitions that I really like.

  3. This panto looks great on this quilt. My favorite panto right now is called honeycomb. I got it at Urban Elementz. Fun modern pattern. Quilts up easy too. Another favorite is Ground Cover.
