Another redo... of sorts

I've just taken Corinne's quilt off the frame and I love both the front and the back!  As you can see from an earlier post, I have added some green, added three more flowers, lots of 2-1/2" squares, borders...  and that made the entire quilt larger.  I think her Mommy will love it!
Here are some close ups of my quilting:

Jana made this for her sister

The fabrics in this quilt are so soothing, it deserved a soothing panto...

No caption necessary - this little guy is three

I made someone happy!

What a great feeling!   I recently did a light custom quilting job for a friend and I got this from her:
Annette's quilt was supposed to be six placemats.  I think I may have talked her into sewing those six panels into a quilt...  So cute!
This is a picture of the back:
Annette usually adds a unique touch to her quilts...  I honestly forgot the name of this technique...
Now it's in Alabama,  hopefully keeping Annette's mother in law snuggly warm...

I have heard that quilters skip generations?

My daughters have no interest in learning how to quilt... but they love being the recipient of ones I've made. Well, I may have a recruit! My little granddaughter Corinne loves to sit on my lap when I'm piecing. She also loves to fold fabric. Ahhh, maybe the fabric obsession is going to take hold with her!

One of the many tasks on my to-do list are enlarging this baby quilt for Corinne. She is having a baby brother in July and moving up to a big-girl bed. I'm planning on turning this into a twin.
