Light Custom on a BQ Quilt

This is Peg's quilt.  I used some leafy feathers and each big block got its own individual flower.  I finished this awhile ago and just realized I hadn't posted pictures.  Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you are getting time to make some quilts.
The full quilt.  I didn't take pictures of the back.  The fabric was so busy that not much would have been seen.

Wool, Homespun Fabrics, and Feathers Make this a Jewel!

Jackie has been waiting patiently for this jem, and I hope it will be worth the wait.  I posted earlier about all the tools I used for this quilt, and will post more later this week.  I quilted lots of feathers as they are one of my favorite things to do, particularly on a traditional quilt like this.

I used Glide primarily, with So Fine for the stitch in the ditch. Thanks for looking!  Thanks, Jackie, for allowing me to finish your quilt.  It was a pleasure.

The full quilt!  It was hard to fit this one in my living room.  The quilt is 94x98.
Closeup of my border design.  I used Linda Hrcka's largest arc ruler, along with Renae Haddadin's arc.
The back!
Thanks for looking.

Loving This Border!

This pretty quilt belongs to a customer, Jackie. I designed this border pattern just by trial and error and I used Linda Hrcka's #20 ruler, along with Renae Haddadin's arc ruler.

The process evolves from chalk on the fabric, to a whiteboard, then sketch pads and also my plexiglass which I lay over the fabric.

I'll be posting more the further along I get. Stay tuned. I'll show pictures of my drawings and tools if interested.
